【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestermsanddefinitionsrelatingtodredgers,withtheaimofgivingclearenoughdefini-tionsforeverytermforthemtobeunder-stoodbyallspecialists.Itappliesonlytoequipmentwhichisusedforthecreationandmaintenanceofnavi-gablewaterwaysandtheextractionofsoil.ThetermsspecifiedinthisInternationalStandardareintendedtobeusedindo-cumentationofallkinds.Useofsyn-onymsforthestandardizedterms,whicharegenerallynotincludedinthisStan-dard,isnotrecommended.Certainstan-dardizedtermsarealsogivenwiththeirabridgedversion:thesemaybeusedincaseswherenopossibilityofmisinter-pretationcanarise.Combinationoftermsareallowedinap-plication.IncaseswhenadefinitioncontainsatermdefinedelsewhereintheStandard,thecorrespondingitemnumberfollowsinbrackets.
