【摘要】:Densityisafundamentalphysicalpropertythatcanbeusedinconjunctionwithotherpropertiestocharacterizeboththelightandheavyfractionsofpetroleumandtoaccessthequalityofcrudeoils.Determinationofthedensityorrelativedensityofpetroleumanditsproductsisnecessaryfortheconversionofmeasuredvolumestovolumesatthestandardtemperaturesof15x00B0;C.Thedeterminationofdensitiesattheelevatedtemperaturesof40and100x00B0;Cisparticularlyusefulinprovidingthedataneededfortheconversionofkinematicviscositiesincentistokes(mm2/s)tothecorrespondingdynamicviscositiesincentipoises(mPax00B7;s).1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthedensityofoilsmoreviscousthan15cStat20x00B0;C(mm2/s),andofviscousoilsandmeltedwaxesatelevatedtemperatures,butnotattemperaturesatwhichthesamplewouldhaveavaporpressureof100mmHg(13kPa)orabove.Note18212;Todeterminethedensitiesoflessviscousliquidsat20or25x00B0;CuseTestMethodD1217.1.2Thistestmethodprovidesacalculationprocedureforconvertingdensitytorelativedensity(specificgravity).1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
